You can rent a wand from the store. We can't promise it'll perform at the level of truck-mount equipment, and we've addressed numerous DIY attempts that left fabric over-soaked, soap residue trapped in the cushion foam, or watermarks the homeowner couldn't get out.

   Move & Inspect

   We move the piece off the floor so we can clean what's underneath, and so we can work the back, sides, and underside of the furniture without dragging your room around.

2. 02

   Strip Cushions

   Pillows and cushions come off and get cleaned separately so we can hit every panel and every hidden fold.

3. 03

   Vacuum Thoroughly

   The frame, the cushions, every seam. Loose dust, hair, crumbs, and dander come out before we put a drop of water on the fabric. This step alone makes a noticeable difference.

   Pretreat

   Fabric-safe alkaline pretreatment goes down on every fabric panel, with extra attention on visible spots, headrests, and armrests.

5. 05

   Steam Clean

   Truck-mount steam cleaning, end to end. Heated, soft, lightly-pressurized water rinses everything we just lifted right out of the fabric.

6. 06

   Light Deodorize

   A mild deodorizer leaves a clean, neutral scent. Not perfume — just no musty, no pet, no anything else.

7. 07

   Polish & Detail

   We clean and polish the wooden arms, backs, and legs so the whole piece looks new — not just the cushions.

Optional: ScotchGard fabric protector. Reapplied at the end if you'd like the next spill to bead up instead of soak in. Available on most fabric types — we'll tell you upfront if your piece isn't a good candidate.

Our cleaning solutions are family- and pet-safe. We use no harsh chemicals, so there's no lingering chemical odor. Once the piece is dry, you can use it right away.
