Tile & Grout Cleaning in Zion,
Brought back to like-new quality.

Your home's tile and grout work hard in Zion, especially with the lake winds and seasonal moisture that come with living this close to the water. In neighborhoods like the Original Zion grid, where families have called these planned homes theirs for generations, tile can lose its shine faster than you'd expect. We know how to restore that clean, fresh look to bathrooms, kitchens, and entryways without the hassle. Give us a call at (847) 951-9636, and let's get your surfaces looking their best. We're proud to serve Zion and the surrounding communities too.

  • Optional Penetrating Grout Sealer

Zion Tile & Grout Cleaning

Get the Maximum Soil
Out of Your Floors.

Mopping alone only redistributes grime. Our process pulls the soil covering your hard tile and the dirt buried deep inside your grout lines. Out, gone, and finished with a sealer that keeps it from coming back.

Family-owned and operated in Lake Villa. Consistent crew, consistent quality. Wall corner protection, carpet glides under furniture, and Seal-A-Door on the entry so household pets stay in and the weather stays out while we work.

A Tip For Zion Homes

If you live in the Original Zion grid near Illinois Beach State Park, you know how salt spray and moisture work their way into tile and grout faster than anywhere else in town. Those older homes with their beautiful original tilework need attention twice a year, not once. Spring cleanup after winter's freeze-thaw cycle and late fall maintenance before the lake winds pick up will keep your grout from darkening and cracking. Call (847) 951-9636 to schedule a seasonal cleaning that actually fits how your neighborhood ages.

The Details

How We Do It,
And Why It Matters.

Tap to expand each section, or read it all the way through — every customer asks at least one of these questions.

Once we walk through your home, address your concerns, answer your questions, and protect your home with corner guards, carpet glides, and Seal-A-Door, here's exactly what we do.

  1. 01

    Sweep & Remove Dry Soil

Loose dirt comes off first. No point spreading it around with water.

  2. 02

    Wipe Baseboards

Exposed baseboards get a thorough wipe-down so we don't push dust onto a freshly cleaned floor.

  3. 03

    Pre-Treat

A specially formulated high-alkaline solution loosens and emulsifies soils and stains in the grout.

  4. 04

    Power Scrub

A counter-rotating brush works the tile and grout lines mechanically, releasing the maximum amount of dirt and residue.

  5. 05

    Steam Rinse

High-pressure rotary scrub wand steam-rinses everything we just lifted, contained so it doesn't go anywhere it shouldn't.

  6. 06

    Turbo Dry

Air movers go down on the freshly rinsed floor so it's dry quickly and ready for use.

  7. 07

    Penetrating Sealer

Solvent-based tile & grout sealer goes in last. Doesn't change the look or feel — just makes future spills sit on top instead of soaking in.

Acrylic-waxed tile? Some tile is finished with an acrylic wax that has to be stripped first to actually clean what's underneath. We strip it, clean, and then reapply the wax to keep the glossy look.

A mop handles surface-level cleaning, but it leaves the grout untouched. The grout is where dirt really hides. Here's what professional cleaning gets you:

  • Deep cleaning, not surface cleaning. Truck-mount steam plus counter-rotating brush gets contaminants out of the grout that mopping simply can't reach.
  • Longer tile lifespan. Removing harmful substances and treating the surface correctly extends how long your floor lasts before it needs replacing.
  • Health. Grout is a breeding ground for mold, mildew, dust mites, and bacteria — all of which trigger allergies and respiratory issues.
  • Look. Stained grout dulls a whole room. Clean grout makes the floor look new.
  • Time. What takes us 90 minutes takes a homeowner with a brush a weekend.
  • Sealing. Once cleaned, sealing the grout protects it from future stains and makes the next cleaning easier.

Our products are safe for your family and pets. We protect your walls, baseboards, and nearby floors with corner guards and carpet glides. We install Seal-A-Door at the entry to keep your pets inside and block outdoor elements during service.

Not all tile is the same. ceramic, porcelain, travertine, slate, and marble each call for distinct cleaning techniques. We're trained to identify what you have and apply the right method for it instead of running the same wand across everything.

Family-owned in Lake County since 2016. You get the same team at each appointment. If you're not happy with the result, Paul personally inspects, we re-clean, we make it right.

This was my second time using Supreme Cleaning and once again Paul was a pleasure to work with. Nate and Leo cleaned our tile and grout and did a great job. They were personable, polite and worked with attention to detail. After the initial visit I called Paul back to see if…

Why Tile & Grout Cleaning
Matters for Zion Homes.

Living in Zion means dealing with the reality of lake-effect weather and the moisture that comes with it. Your older grid-home bathrooms and kitchens see constant exposure to humidity and mineral deposits from our Great Lakes climate, and that buildup on tile and grout gets stubborn fast. Families in the Original Zion grid and Lakeshore neighborhood know how quickly those once-clean grout lines turn dingy, especially in homes built to last but not necessarily to resist decades of lakeside moisture. Professional tile and grout cleaning isn't just about looks—it's about protecting your investment and keeping your home's most-used spaces sanitary for everyone living there. We understand Zion's particular challenges because we work right here in the community. You can reach us at (847) 951-9636 to schedule a cleaning that actually gets into those problem areas, or stop by our Lake Villa office at 72 Balsam Ave if you'd like to discuss your home's specific needs in person.
