Pressure washing is a general term for cleaning outdoor surfaces with pressurized water — but there are really two methods, and they're for different jobs.
High Pressure Washing. High-powered water jets blast through years of build-up. Powerful, fast, and effective — but the pressure can damage some materials. We know which surfaces handle it and which don't, and we'll tell you which one yours is. Typically used on flat, durable surfaces like:
- Walkways
- Driveways
- Brick walls (sometimes — depends on age and mortar condition)
- Commercial parking lots
Soft Washing. Lower pressure, smarter chemistry. Same approach as house washing — used on more delicate surfaces like wood decks, fences, painted concrete, and anywhere high pressure could cause damage.
