FAQs

Do you offer weekend service?

We sure do!  We offer all cleaning services 7 days a week.  We know that spills and pet accidents don’t only happen Monday thru Friday.  We also understand that your schedule may not allow you to be home during the work week.

Do you charge by the room or by the square foot?

We charge for our carpet cleaning, tile & grout cleaning, and garage floor cleaning by the square foot. Upholstery and pet treatments are on a case by case basis. We charge by the square foot because there is no such thing as a standard room. Every home is different when it comes to size, flooring type and furniture load. We do offer discounts for empty rooms and open areas.

How long does it take for my carpet to dry?

Your carpet will dry on an average of 4-6 hours.  Heavily soiled and high traffic areas may take longer to dry.  The best way to promote fast drying of your carpets is to create air movement with ceiling fans and your forced air HVAC system.  The ideal drying temperatures are between 70-72 degrees. Make sure to turn your heat on in the winter and your A/C on in the summer. If conditions are suitable and to your liking, you may open your windows in the spring and fall.

Will you move any furniture during the cleaning process?

Yes.  We will move most furniture during the cleaning process using all precautions and furniture glides.  We will move furniture such as; couches, chairs, night stands, coffee tables, end tables, recliners, lamps, small dressers, benches, treadmills and lighter tables.  We will NOT move; pool tables, china cabinets, pianos, entertainment centers, computer desks, heavy stone or glass tables, antiques, decorative art, oversized beds, large dressers, or any other high risk expensive items.

How long does the cleaning typically take?

The cleaning process can take from 1-4 hours depending on the scope of work being done and level of soil present.  We are by no means in a hurry and will work diligently to ensure you are 100% satisfied.   After initial walk through we will give you a time window of how long the cleaning should take.

Is the cleaning safe for my kids and pets?

Absolutely.  After cleaning the carpet will be damp.  It is okay if your child or pet comes in contact with any cleaned surfaces after our process is complete.  We make our living working with these products everyday.  If any product were harmful we would be the first to know and discontinue it’s use.

Can I walk on the carpet after it is cleaned?

After cleaning the carpet will be damp, not wet.  It is recommended that you, your children, and your pets stay off the carpet until it is 100% dry to ensure the best results and avoid any re-soiling.  If you must walk on the carpet it is recommended to wear white socks only.  Any socks with color may transfer to the freshly cleaned carpet.  When you let the dog outside, make sure to wipe their paws upon re-entry.

How long do I need to leave the protective pads under the furniture?

Leave any plastic tabs or foam blocks under the furniture until the carpet in 100% dry.  These tabs and blocks are there to prevent any furniture staining or rust marks, and to help promote faster dry times. It is best to wait 24 hours.  While the top of the carpeting may feel dry, it may not be 100% dry at the deeper levels.
